  • Founder’s Park: See the beautifully restored Victorian fountain that remains at the heart of our town’s beginning.

  • Centennial Cottage (Circa 1884): Step back into the late 1800s in this meticulously restored historic home.

Your docent will bring history to life with stories of:

  • Presidential Visits: Discover which world leaders have graced the Grove.

  • Hollywood in the Grove: Famous movies & TV shows filmed on these very streets.

  • Notable Neighbors: Fascinating tales of our most famous residents.

  • Local Lore: Hidden "tidbits" and secrets of the town & architecture.

The tour costs $20 payable upon arrival, as online booking serves as a reservation only.

The Historical Society of Ocean Grove is classified as a 501© (3) non-profit organization. Each purchase and donation goes towards our annual cost of $100,000 to run the HSOG Museum as well as to the upkeep of our town’s historic landmarks. We appreciate your interest in both our town’s history and our organization’s mission.
